Why does my FlexiObox still need to be activated by the installer?
After physical installation of the FlexiObox, the installer must complete the configuration remotely.

What the installer must do:
- Register the FlexiObox in the LIFEPOWR system
- Configure the correct inverter and battery
- Activate the installation

What you can already do:
1. Create your FlexiO account via my.flexio.energy or the MyFlexiO app
2. Click on 'No FlexiO account yet?'
3. Use the email address linked to your FlexiObox (the one you provided to your installer)
4. Have your EAN code and bank account number ready

What you'll see in the app:
During configuration, the app shows "The configuration of the FlexiObox is ongoing" with status:
- FlexiObox: Being configured ❌

This is normal! The message states: "Your FlexiObox is currently being prepared by your installer. You will be informed when this is finished."

Once configuration is complete, the status will change to "All systems active" and FlexiO will automatically start optimizing your energy.
Why does my battery charge from the grid when there's sun?
FlexiO optimises economically, not just based on solar production. Sometimes drawing from the grid is cheaper than waiting for sun (e.g., when clouds are forecast or negative prices are expected later). Trust the algorithm - evaluate results over the long term.
Why is my battery at 50% at night?
When participating in active grid balancing (FCR/rPOWR), your battery needs room to respond in both directions — charging and discharging. A 50% state of charge is optimal for fast response to grid frequency changes. This is completely normal behavior and not a problem.
Am I participating in grid balancing/imbalance market?
You can check your participation status in the MyFlexiO app under Real-time > Grid balancing status. 'Active' means you're participating and earning. 'Stand-by' means you're registered but local savings are currently more valuable. 'In evaluation' means a technical test is underway, which can take up to 12 weeks.
Can I cancel my FlexiO subscription when selling my home?
Yes, you can cancel your FlexiO subscription when selling your home.

How to cancel?
1. Contact LIFEPOWR support via the contact form
2. Provide your FlexiObox ID and reason for cancellation
3. You'll receive a confirmation once the cancellation is final

Free period:
If you're still in a free period, you'll receive a reminder one month before the paid subscription starts. At that point, you can also stop.

New home:
In your new home, you can of course have FlexiO installed again once solar panels and/or a battery are present.
Can I change my EAN code afterwards if it was entered incorrectly?
Yes, if your EAN code was entered incorrectly or appears to be already in use, LIFEPOWR support can correct this.

Common situations:
- During registration you get the message 'EAN code already in use'
- You registered last year but the installation is only ready now
- A typo was made

Solution:
1. Contact LIFEPOWR support via the contact form
2. Provide your correct EAN code (18 digits, starts with 5414)
3. LIFEPOWR updates the data in the system

Finding your EAN code:
You can find it on your energy bill or via Mijn Fluvius.
Can I export FlexiO data?
No, FlexiO currently does not offer a function to export consumption data to Excel or other formats.

Alternative:
For detailed quarter-hourly data of consumption and injection, you can contact Fluvius. Through 'Mijn Fluvius' you can download your meter data.

What FlexiO does offer:
- Real-time overview in the app
- Historical graphs per day, week, month
- Overview of savings and earnings
Can I retrofit FlexiO on an existing installation?
Yes, a FlexiObox can be perfectly installed afterwards on an existing installation with solar panels, battery and/or charger. Requirement: your equipment must be compatible with FlexiO (check www.lifepowr.io/inverters and /chargers). Contact a FlexiO partner via 'Only need a FlexiOBox?' on the website.
Can I set a minimum battery level?
No, FlexiO automatically determines the optimal state of charge (SOC) strategy. Setting manual restrictions would reduce your savings and block grid balancing participation. If you have specific backup power requirements, please discuss these with your installer.
Can I use the FlexiO app on multiple devices?
Yes, you can log in on multiple devices with the same login credentials (email address and password). You can also always log in via browser at my.flexio.energy in addition to the mobile app. Your partner or family member can therefore use the same account on their own phone.
