Job Description

To promote strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

You will play a key role through a wide range of management tasks, including financial, HR and administration, working closely with the CEO and management team.

On the financial side, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing financial operations, ensuring the financial health of the company, ensuring effective financial control, reporting, coordination of business planning and budgeting, and cash management. You will serve as a point of contact for our external auditor and provide crucial support to the CEO in day-to-day management. Your data analysis, forecasts, insights into financial risks and opportunities, and your recommendations support management in financial planning and business decision-making.

On the HR and administrative side, you will support the CEO in HR administration, including contract management, coordination of payroll and personnel files. You will manage the onboarding and offboarding process for new employees and coordinate daily administrative tasks (remotely), ensuring smooth operations.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial management, controlling, audit, consulting or investment banking.
  • Experience in start-ups or fast-paced environments is a big plus.
  • Skill in MS Office and ERP tools (knowledge of Odoo is a definite plus) and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting and cash management.
  • Knowledge of HR administration and familiarity with Belgian labor laws (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and/or Dutch, French is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Able to work independently in a remote-friendly environment, with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
