What is V2G or Vehicle-to-Grid? Well, did you know that you can use your electric vehicle not only for transportation, but also to store energy? 🚗🔋
V2G is a technical concept that uses the batteries of parked electric vehicles flexibly in both directions to:
✅ capture and store excess electricity produced on the grid
✅ to create an energy reserve that powers the power grid or your home network in the event of an emergency
V2G helps keep the grid in balance and allows full use of the renewable electricity produced. For V2G to be useful, however, smart technologies are needed, and that's where FlexiO comes in.
FlexiO ensures that:
✅ Your needs are taken into account: so your car is always charged and ready for use when you need it.
✅ It knows when there is an energy surplus on the grid: for example, during sunny and windy days
✅ He knows when there is an energy shortage and prices are high: such as morning and evening when most people are home and consuming electricity.
✅ He knows energy prices and knows when it is better to inject energy or take it off the grid.
