How do I become a FlexiO installer or partner?
You can become a certified installer with us by creating an account and enrolling in the LIFEPOWR Academy via our Business Portal. After completing the training you will receive access to the installer portal and our Business Support.
I'm getting an error during registration - what now?
If you get an error message during registration, this can have various causes:

Email address already in use: You may have already created an account before. Try resetting your password via the "Forgot password" function.

Incorrect EAN code: Check if you've entered the correct EAN code. You can find it on your energy bill (usually an 18-digit code).

Server timeout: Sometimes the server is temporarily overloaded. Wait a few minutes and try again.

If the problem persists, contact our support and include a screenshot of the error message so we can help you quickly.
Why are my savings not displayed or showing as €0?
If you don’t see any savings, it may be due to the following reasons:

- Your installation was recently activated; savings and earnings only become visible after a full month has passed.
- Your energy tariff is not set. Check it via Settings → FlexiObox → Energy Tariff.
- Finally, check the system status in the app for error messages and contact support if there are any problems.
Can FlexiO control my heat pump, boiler, or underfloor heating?
FlexiO cannot directly control your heat pump, boiler, or underfloor heating. However, FlexiO includes them in the consumption analysis and uses that data for battery control and peak shaving.

If you want more precise control, you can connect the heat pump via FlexiO’s built‑in API, but this requires technical knowledge and LIFEPOWR does not provide support for this. All information can be found in our knowledge base via this link:
Is a Smappee charger compatible with FlexiO?
No, the Smappee charger is not compatible with FlexiO. Smappee operates as a closed system and cannot communicate with FlexiO. However, both systems can operate side by side: FlexiO recognizes the consumption of the Smappee charger as a large load and takes it into account in its battery strategy.
I can't log in to the MyFlexiO app
Make sure you're using the correct email address. If you've forgotten your password, use the 'Forgot password' option and check your spam folder for the reset email. You can also try logging in via my.flexio.energy in your browser. If you're using a VPN, try turning it off as this can sometimes cause login issues.
What is the ePOWR tariff?
The ePOWR tariff is a dynamic energy tariff that is cheaper than standard dynamic tariffs and includes ePOWR services. 
Benefits: 
1) Cheaper tariff structure, 
2) ePOWR earnings via energy bill (no more waiting 3 months) 
Currently available via Trevion and Energy Knights, with more suppliers expected in the future.
How does FlexiO work with negative energy prices?
FlexiO protects you from paying for injection by applying curtailment. With negative prices FlexiO limits PV production to your own consumption, so excess energy is not injected and you incur no costs. If grid balancing at that moment yields more than the injection cost, FlexiO automatically calculates whether injection is still more advantageous. Note: curtailment works only with hybrid inverters that support this function.
What does the ‘approved’ or ‘qualified’ status mean for grid balancing?
Your installation is technically approved for grid balancing and is now placed in a waiting group. After the group is assembled by LIFEPOWR and submitted to Elia, approval typically takes 8–12 weeks. Once this is completed, you can actively participate in grid balancing. Even without active participation, FlexiO already provides smart control and savings on your energy bill.
Can FlexiO control my air conditioner?
No, FlexiO cannot control an air conditioner. However, FlexiO automatically includes your air conditioner in the smart control and adjusts the battery strategy accordingly. You can optionally use our API to switch a device intelligently, but this requires some technical setup and LIFEPOWR does not provide support for it.
